The one-hour ride traverses the historic Bearden Homestead following the old wagon roads and irrigation ditches. It includes wide open meadows full of wildflowers in the summer and groves of aspen trees. Sightings of wildlife, including red tailed hawks and trophy size mule deer bucks, are frequent.
The one-and-a-half hour ride is a great in between when one hour just isn’t enough. This ride is perfect for those who haven’t ridden in a while but want a little more time on the saddle. Your guide will share with you the history of the surrounding area while a gentle and trusty horse navigates the trails for you.
The two-hour ride are for those wishing to spend more time in the saddle. We go further up the valley and to the top of a ridge with breathtaking views of Bellyache Ridge and a glimpse of the New York and Gore Mountain Ranges. This allows more opportunity for wildlife sightings and breathtaking vistas.
We usually stop a couple of minutes for a breather before winding our way back to the stables. You will get to have lots of photo opportunity along the way for your memories. We keep our trail rides at a capacity of 7 riders, but if you need to book for more riders just contact us!
